Dr Lawrence May is a game studies and digital learning researcher and lecturer. His research typically seeks to understand the relationships between users, stories and spaces within videogames and new media. He also examines teaching and learning in digital environments and technology-enhanced learning spaces. His teaching experience encompasses digital games, interactive narrative, media and communications theory and practice, and creative software development. Dr May has also, over a number of years, provided strategic leadership within the Faculty of Education and Social Work for projects and initiatives that enhance teaching and learning with educational technologies.
